Dana joined the firm in May 2018 as its new First Impression Specialist. As such, she is the first line of communication between our clients/vendors, and the firm.
Dana graduated with honors from Lynchburg College in 2009, with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She moved to the metro DC area that summer, with her fiancé (now, husband) and has been living here ever since. Dana got a job as a veterinary assistant at Seneca Hill Animal Hospital, Resort and Spa in Great Falls, where she spent the next 8.5 years. During this time, Dana expanded her role at the clinic and learned the ins and outs of the front desk reception. After having her daughter, Dana continued to work as a dual veterinary assistant/receptionist for the next few years, before joining Cohen & Burnett/OptiFour Integrated Wealth Management.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family, both in Virginia and along the eastern seaboard. She has an amazing husband, Joe; a daughter, Hayleigh and three furry family members (1 dog and 2 cats). She enjoys spending time outside hiking or bicycle riding but can also be found inside watching a good movie or reading a great book. She hopes to be able to do more traveling in the future, once her daughter is a little older, to see the different regions of the United States and maybe even venturing abroad to experience other countries.
