Rasheda Nipu J.D. joined Cohen & Burnett, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in 2014 after completing an internship with the firm that same year. In 2017, she transitioned to Tax Manager for Cohen & Burnett.
She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. She spent one year teaching at the Oakland School in Troy, Virginia as a Resident Instructor after college, and then went on to pursue her J.D. with a Certification in Estate Planning at the Syracuse University College of Law.
Rasheda was admitted and sworn into the Virginia State Bar in 2014 and is active in various local Estate Planning groups. Her prior legal experience includes a Fellowship at the Manhattan Legal Aid Society, a clerkship at Taddeo & Shahan, LLP in Syracuse, New York, and working as a student attorney for the Syracuse Elder Law Clinic.
Outside of the office, Rasheda enjoys running, live music and learning to cook.
